Support the Elkhart Rowing Club Proposal for Development of the Former Alick’s Property Site

The undersigned urge the Elkhart Redevelopment Commission to accept the proposal submitted by the Elkhart Rowing Club (the "ERC") for development of the former Alick's property site. We support the mission of the ERC for building a community-based support structure for the sport of rowing, including the development of crew as a varsity sport at the high school level. This effort continues the City of Elkhart's push towards a more vibrant community and dovetails with the new Aquatic Center. We do not believe the former Alick's Property should be developed for the use of Private Condominium Owners.
