Because of the increasing numbers of people (adults & children) visiting / using the Museum of American History, Heritage Park as well what will be the Palo Alto History Museum the 300 block on Homer Avenue has become an increasingly busy street. Thus it is imperative that THE CITY of PALO ALTO 'install' a cross walk or a speed reduction mechanism (speed bump) to help prevent accidents that will inevitably occur. Cars regularly travel at speeds (above the residential speed limit - 25mph) all the while parents, children, tourists, etc. are exiting autos parked along the curb or simply 'jay-walking' from one side of the street to the other. This is a formula for disaster if traffic isn't slowed down!!
