End Cruel Animal Testing in Labs Worldwide

Every year, millions of animals are used in laboratory testing for cosmetics, chemicals, and medical research. These animals—such as mice, rabbits, dogs, and primates—are often kept in confined spaces, denied natural behaviors, and subjected to painful or distressing procedures. Many do not survive the process and are killed once testing is complete.

While animal testing is often justified as necessary for science, its reliability is increasingly questioned. Results from animal studies do not always translate accurately to humans, meaning animals can suffer without guaranteed human benefit. Despite significant scientific advances, animal testing continues largely because it is the traditional standard rather than the most effective or humane approach.

The Solution

We are calling for a global shift away from animal testing and toward modern, ethical alternatives.

This includes:

Investing in non-animal methods such as organ-on-a-chip technology, lab-grown human tissues, and advanced computer modeling
Expanding legal bans on cosmetic and unnecessary animal testing
Requiring research institutions to use validated alternative testing methods whenever possible
Increasing funding for cruelty-free scientific innovation
Creating clear timelines to phase out animal testing where alternatives exist

By embracing these solutions, we can reduce suffering, improve scientific accuracy, and move toward a more humane future for both animals and humans.
