Over One Hundred Dogs Were Found Dead in an Ohio Home. The Government Could Have Saved Them.

Animal rescues are supposed to care for animals: to shelter them from harm and help get them into forever-homes with loving families. But when authorities entered the home of a co-founder of one animal rescue in Ohio, the scene was straight out of a horror film.

Agents found 146 dead dogs on a single property. Not a single dog was found alive.

Animal control and police officers spent over six hours on the property extracting the bodies of innocent, defenseless dogs who died from pure and utter neglect.

We will never know how much those dogs suffered while they were alive, and tragically, we can't bring any of them back. But we can do everything in our power to stop it from happening again.

Sign now to demand the state of Ohio pass legislation that requires regular inspections of animal rescues to ensure a tragedy like this can never happen again!

Part of the reason this tragedy was allowed to happen is because many states do not require regular checks on animal rescues. Ohio legislators must create a policy that requires regular inspections of animal rescues to ensure that no more atrocities like this can happen again in the future.

Any place where many animals are being cared for should be regularly inspected, plain and simple. Sign the petition now to tell the state of Ohio to enact legislation to protect rescue animals today!
