Revise the Student Dress Code

The girls dress code is strictly enforced, as a result, one of the males attending our high school has been doing an experiment to prove just that. So far, he has proved that he can get away with athletics shorts, as well as holes above the knees, in pants.
All we want is the ability to speak out about this and be listened to. The time of high school is to experiment, not to be shamed for clothes that could be slightly "distracting" (with the exclusion of profanity, drugs, violence 'promoting' clothing).
Portland Public Schools has had this issue before hand, addressed the students concerns by listening to them, and allowed a change in the way the conduct addressed student dress code. ( link: https://noworegon.org/issues/model-student-dress-code/ )
If you want a change, or a chance to speak out, sign the petition so that the board of education will hear us speak.
