Stop the overpopulation and suffering of innocent cats and kittens!

Feral and abandoned cats are a huge part of the growing pet over-population. Feral cats are the wild offspring of domestic cats, and ALWAYS the result of pet owners who fail to spay or neuter their animals.

This petition is for a law to once and for all "Stop the overpopulation and suffering of innocent cats and kittens". The shelters are always full the numbers of cats and kittens being euthanized everyday is horrendous. This Law will make people do the right thing and take responsibility for their Feline friends

Kittens can be spayed & neutered at four months or at a weight of two pounds. And with the amount of programs for spaying & neutering your cats, money is no longer an excuse for the abuse. If we fail to take full responsibility for our feline companions they more often than not end up being destroyed by us.

We, the undersigned call to the U.S. Congress to make a law in which to make a gift of or sale of any cat or kitten may not be permitted unless the cat or kitten has been spayed or neutered, this includes any pet stores,shelters and rescues. Our prayer is that this law will eliminate the endless trail of feral kittens and cats and that finally their pain and suffering will end. So please if you have ever known the love of a pet, do it for them.....
