Remove us from Vero Beach Utilities.

We are subjected to outrageous utility rates and do not have any avenue of redress, as we are not residents of the City of Vero Beach. We DO NOT want to be annexed by the City of Vero Beach. We DO want to acquire our utilities from Florida Power & Light.
We are not allowed to vote in the City of Vero Beach on any issue, especially when the issue is the Utilities. Therefore we are being taxed without representation.
We are subjected to ever increasing rates without justification.
When we attempt to receive answers from the City of Vero Beach or the Utilities Customer Service, we receive snide remarks ye , no definitive answers.
We are simply told, "that's the way it is".
