Crowley Woods is a proposed 60 lot subdivision in Chester. The only access in and out of the subdivision is on Crowley Road in Candia. They have estimated that 60 houses will produce 600 trips per day. Because of the location of Crowley woods, Candia has the responsibility of providing mutual aid in the form of fire, police and ambulance services. The kicker is Candia gets ZERO tax revenue from this because all of the homes are in Chester. The citizens of Candia will be burden with the cost of road plowing and repair, increased traffic, congested areas, dangerous intersections. It will be a strain on Candia's municiple resources in the form of extra fire, police and ambulance needs. All of these costs come from your taxes without income from this development.
