Nearly half of the world's population is at risk. Every 25 minutes, a young life is lost to the excruciatingly painful dengue hemorrhagic fever. Dengue is becoming the most important mosquito-borne viral disease in the world, with devastating human and economic consequences. Dengue proliferates at an amazingly fast rate, now thriving 128 countries. Climate change is one of the major factors for this. This must be stopped.

Only a global coordinated action from our global leaders can push back the devastation caused by dengue.

Dr. Margaret Chan, Director-General of the World Health Organization, and the WHO have put together a “Global Strategy for Dengue Prevention and Control: 2012/2020”. We want to ensure that she gets sufficient support for her strategy and to make global leaders take immediate action against dengue now.
