blue Cross Blue Shield rejecting payments for drug addiction and mental health issues

to make blue Cross Blue Shield live up to policy and pay for services rendered for treatment at drug rehabilitation centers. the company allows admittance but about two to four weeks in they pull the financial backing and the patient gets returned home. the short stays just fuel the reuse of drugs and then a second, third or fourth stay at a rehabilitation program. the company has a policy that gets followed but they refuse to pay. even after appeals are made. the appeals are not read and reasons for rejection are clearly stated in the appeal. the company is negligent in not following policy, adding stress to the family of the addict and not helping the addict by pulling services too early.
