STOP cell phone companies from using the fine print to steal from consumers!!

I had T-Mobile with autopay and became unemployed and unable to pay for my bill. I was doing month-by-month payments and didn't alert them that I was letting my service expire. I assumed it would automatically be suspended, but they charged me for another month then another after suspending it finally. They told me it was my responsibility to turn off autopay or they could continue to charge. If autopay is not accessing any payments the first month, suspended it. If charging month after month adds up, how much can they be stealing when you're not even getting service anymore?

Apparently what they did was legal, but we all know it is not right. It's unethical. If you stop paying for cable, the cable company turns off your service. Who even thinks to look for this loophole issue when signing up for service?

This is designed to allow these companies to scam the public for a simple service and it's legal because Big Business and the government are helping each other and making it legal to scam us.
