Tell Texas School to Remove Dropped Charges from Student's Record

17 year-old Chaz Seale was running late for school.  Packing his lunch, he grabbed a can of what he thought was soda.  However, it was actually a can of beer.  Upon arriving at school, Chaz realized his mistake.  In an attempt to be honest and avoid trouble, he turned in the unopened can to his teacher.  However, Chaz was soon punished for his good decision.

Chaz's punishment was a 3-day suspension and 60 days attending an alternative school. His mother has since appealed the punishment, and Chaz has now had possession charges against him dropped and is permitted to return to school.  However, this incident still remains on his school record.  Since Chad is no longer receiving punishment for this incident, it should be dropped from his record as it could impact his acceptance into post-secondary education.

Tell Livingston High School to remove this incident from Chaz's school record.
