SAVE PFUND PARK
PFUND PARK DOES MATTER TO OUR COMMUNITY!
Our community has enjoyed Pfund park and its access to Waubonsie creek for decades. We will fight against any efforts to change zoning to convert the Pfund property for cemetery use!
There is a perpetual public use easement on this land that has been blocked by a fence, we want fence REMOVED and access to creek and park returned as it was for the neighboring residents and our community.

**Feb 8, THIS THURSDAY at 7pm** IMPORTANT MEETING at Village Hall: Oswego Planning and Zoning commission will have a hearing to convert Pfund park to cemetery space. VERY important to appear and prevent the Township attempt to change zoning of our neighborhood park. PUBLIC HEARING Nov 9 @ 7 at Village Hall - Special Use Permit Variance
Township is pushing to convert Pfund Park for cemetery space
Please appear Nov 9th to object and request the Special Use Permit be DENIED!

Next Oswego Township Meeting is Tuesday Oct 10, 6:30
Planning and Zoning unanimously agreed to DENY the variance for the fence at Pfund court, and the Village of Oswego last week denied the variance by a 4-2 vote. We need to circulate petition and get more signatures. The Township should do the RIGHT thing and return the property to the park district. Please share the petition website link...Please come out Oct 10 and support our efforts to honor the wishes of Jack Pfund, AND Save PFUND PARK!

Village of Oswego township meeting 9/19/17 at 7pm at Village Hall
!WE NEED TO KEEP THE PUBLIC PRESSURE ON!
Rich Zielke with park district says they would take back Pfund park only IF the Village of Oswego denies the Township the approval to move forward with the fence and cemetery, they will not do anything until this happens
