Demand an End to the Ash Creek Amphitheater Plan, Now!

The city of Fairfield, Connecticut has a Ash Creek in its sights to build an amphitheater. However Ashcreek was protected about 50 years ago because it is a rare and unique urban estuary. Osprey especially count on Ash Creek‘s continued preservation and nondevelopment. Osprey‘s layer eggs in the same nest every year, and if the noise, traffic, trash, and light of an amphitheater disturb these birds, we could see them vanish all together. The fact that anyone would even consider putting ospreys nest and other wild birds in danger is mine boggling. It took a lot of cooperation between city and residents alike just to preserve this land and its current state. Any development stunts ethical culture.
