Prosecute Miami Seaquarium for abandoning Lolita (and other dolphins) during Hurricane Irma

Miami Seaquarium staff abandoned Lolita the killer whale (who has lived there 47 years too long) during the dangerous Hurricane Irma. Her tank could have been damaged. She could have drowned, she had nowhere to hide, and no protection from the storm.

People who abandoned their dogs and cats are under threat of prosecution. Why should this corporation be let off scott-free! It is time to prosecute the Miami Seaquarium, which has not given Lolita adequate room to swim (they have been cited for the size of their "tank"), and endangered her life during Hurricane Irma.

There is a viable plan in place to release her to a sea-pen in the Pacific NorthWest near her family, including her mother who is still alive. She can be rehabilitated and potentially even eventually released to resume a real life with her family.
