Stop Running Dogs To Death!

Dog racers often claim to be animal lovers... But if that were true, would they run their dogs to death for the sake of their own glory?

Add your name if you want to stop dog racers from pushing their dogs to the point they die of exertion or other causes!

"A dog running the Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race ... according to a statement from the race.

"The 5-year-old male named Joker was from the team of Willow musher Misha Wiljes, the statement said. Joker died about 3 miles outside Central, a race checkpoint roughly 140 miles from the finish line in Fairbanks. ...

"A preliminary necropsy showed Joker died from aspiration, caused by inhaling vomit, according to the Quest," reported Anchorage Daily News.

Can you imagine how that poor dog felt?

Strapped to a sled with all of its pack mates...

It had no choice to keep running, no matter what.

This kind of behavior should not be allowed.

That's why we're asking the organizers of the Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race to impose rules on racers dictating that they must stop and take care of their animals if they see evidence of a dog suffering.

If someone breaks the rules, they should be banned from ever racing again.

Don't you want to protect helpless dogs from being run to death?

Then add your name to demand the organizers of this dog race do the right thing!
