Demand the Australian government stops sending live cattle to a cruel death in Vietnam

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals' (RSPCA) call to suspend further live animal exports to Vietnam has been rejected by the Australian government.

This is a disgrace when the RSPCA have reported that "exported animals are still at risk of horrific cruelty”.

Reports have been made outlining details of cattle being beaten with sledgehammers and exposed to the horrifying act of ‘flooding’, which sees water forced down the throat of animals via a hose in a bid to make them heavier at slaughter.

A ban on exporting live Australian animals should be kept in place until Vietnam has been shown to treat animals humanely.

No animal should be treated in this way. Will you join me in demanding the Australian government stops sending live cattle to a cruel death in Vietnam?

Please sign and share the petition to urge the Minister for Agriculture, Barnaby Joyce, to stop sending live cattle to a cruel death in Vietnam.
