Put an end to skilled Canadian's losing their jobs to temporary foreign workers.

Every day Canadians are losing their jobs to temporary foreign workers. This is not by design. It is simply a matter of large corporations taking advantage of programs created to help in times of a labour shortage. There is no labour shortage in this country. There is however a shortage of awareness and tools in place to educate Canadian's on the issue. I see, on a daily basis, positions created and filled by foriegners. One particular job site run by PCL Energy,  has allowed foriegn workers to take on high paying jobs that could be filled by more qualified Canadian's who were trained in this country. The standards for training in Canada are miles ahead of the standards set in countries around the world. Even after violating the terms of their Visas PCL Energy has protected these workers. According to the TFW program laws these violations are serious and shall result in loss of visa privileges in this country and up to $250,000 in fines (company) per violation. Lets not allow this to continue. Hold these companies and our government accountable and let them know Canadian's will not accept this any longer.
