I have paid hundreds of dollars in parking tickets in front of my own house, and I'm not the only one!!! there was pallets of construction supplies in my driveway, I was given a ticket for parking on my grass next to my driveway, on the street, even in the swell of my driveway ( which is legal ) The parking laws in our growing community have not changed in over 30 years, "that's the way it's always been" isn't good enough anymore!!! Our community continues to grow and change and now we want our local government to stop charging us for it!!!
We have a no street parking law in Green Bay between 3-5 am? Why?
for the snow plows: ( the city plows start work between 7-8) also they don't plow all local roads unless requested, also there is no snow in summer!
the truth is: this generates a lot of income of the city, and they don't want to give it up, Our city has grown and is still growing...
Milwaukee is a great example of adapting to the growing population, the odd number days you park on the odd street de of the street, even number days, the even side, or a street parking yearly pass? Or ANYTHING!!! it needs to change!
there is an overnight parking REQUEST line, however this is not a for sure thing, even if you call your car in, you can still get a ticket.... please help me change it!!!
