Share the Little League Championship

The Jackie Robinson West team players are innocent victims of greedy and unsportsmanlike adult behavior. They played like champions, and should at least should share the 2014 Little League World Series title, regardless of what happens to the managers who compromised their integrity.

These young men played their hearts out.  They exhibited the best of sportsmanship throughout the tournament, and they played like champions.  There is no evidence that they knew that the rules of team membership had been broken.  Don't strip these young men of their rewards for working so hard.  Allowing them to share the championship with the Mountain Lakes team from Las Vegas would allow them to retain their dignity.  Closer scrutiny of team rosters of team osters in the future could prevent mistakes like this from happening again.
