Please Reject the Carryout/Drive-Thru Licenses for the Old Gearheart's Property
The owners of the former Gearhart Hardware building; 2877 W. Broad, have applied for C1, C2 and D6 permits (allowing sale of beer & wine for off-site consumption as well as Sunday sales). They have also applied for a building permit to subdivide the building into four units, one being a beverage drive thru.
We believe the addition of a drive-thru, within feet of Buckeye Ranch and homes, will be detrimental to our neighborhood. We believe that the addition of a drive-thru/carryout will encourage more crime and blight, discourage more upscale businesses from investing in our neighborhood, and lower the property values of the adjacent homes. The undersigned ask the Ohio Division of Liquor Control to deny the applications for the C1, C2 and D6 permits.
Residents are also encouraged to attend the hearing on Permit #9122372. Hearing will be held:
