Demand an end to bullying in high schools!

It is important to stop bullying within high schools in the state of Texas. 3.2 million students are a victim of bullying each year. Suicide rates among 10 to 16-year-olds have grown more than 50 percent over the last three decades. Many states have enacted anti-bullying legislation. 34 states now have anti-cyberbullying laws in place including Texas. Currently there is no law in Texas prohibiting discrimination in schools based on sexual orientation or gender identity and expression. The State of Texas should prohibit discrimination based on ethnicity, skin color, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or national origin of the employee, student, or student’s parent. We want protection and all you need to do is join me in the fight to stop bullying for good!
