WHERE IS THE LOVE FOR REFUGEES?- STOP WRONGFUL UNSUBSTANTIATED DEPORTATION of SAM

Refugee with protected status given by the UK now detained in Moldova unlawfully. No charges, no grounds for detention and threatened with removal to Iraq, a place where he is at risk of persecution. UK Embassy said he does not count in Moldova because he is without a UK passport. He does have settlement rights in the UK which extend beyond 2020, the legal process one must follow to have access to British citizenship. This is completely wrong and unacceptable. Act now. The UK is in contravention of Article 33 Geneva Convention. He is set to be deported 4pm Moldova time (by 2pm UK time on the 14th of February.) Ensure that he is protected as he has the right to be rather than his being placed in an inappropriate category where he is subject to severe harm to his health. Until now, there are no clear grounds substantiating his detention. Silence is the answer lawyers get to phone calls made to concerned parties. UNHCR is involved. They are acting. Lawyer and barrister acting. Activists acting. Get him off the flight. He should be here with us in the UK. Show the love today. Act please. If you do anything at all today, show this man, who may be denied entry to the UK despite UK documentation due to unsubstantiated public security claims some love. HE DESERVES IT.
