State of the Union Prayer

I am concerned about our government in the state of existence. I witness on the news how our country is falling apart. I witness the rise of mass shootings. I witness states filing for bankruptcy. I witness laws and landmark cases, some laws from our constitution to be taken away. I witness the effects of negligence climate control disparity results throughout the world. I witness programs that will help those less fortunate to be taken away. I witness women, blacks and Latinos rights denied and programs to be taken away. I witness the rise of hate crimes to become legal. I witness a political system that profits the wealthy instead of promoting programs that will help all Americans. I witness the state of urgency throughout the world addressing more problems of neglect, poverty, exclusion and the social ills of severity and isolation. America has lost sight of its purpose. This is not the America I once knew. The America I knew cared about the fate our fore-fathers declared when Jefferson, Madison and Monroe wrote the guiding laws the foundation principles of the constitution of the United States.
