Buffy Reboot, ask the original fans for input

From what the media has said, there is no actual script ready for the new reboot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. With all the reboots coming out I wonder if you will keep the followers you have or completely push then away. I believe the best option to create a reboot for this show would be to conduct a study and ask the original die hard fans what they think would be a proper avenue to follow with the story line. Obviously most of us wont be writers but we can be a big inspiration to those creating this reboot.
