Theresa May: Sack racist Anne Marie Morris MP

Good news! Theresa May has responded to calls to remove the whip from Anne Marie Morris MP after her racist comment. But it is only a suspension. Morris should be permanently expelled from the Conservative Party immediately. Anything less suggests the Prime Minister does not take racism seriously."

On 10th July Anne Marie Morris MP described Brexit as a "n****r in the woodpile", in a meeting of eurosceptics in London.

This phrase originates from the slave trade, and is used to describe something suspicious being hidden/concealed.

The use of such racist language is utterly unacceptable and must not be tolerated.

Since Brexit, attacks against racial minorities have been on the rise. This type of extremist language by far-right politicians serves only to stoke up tensions and encourage more attacks. Theresa May must immediately sack this MP to show that she does not condone racism within the Conservative Party.
