Dear Sony,
We, the fans of your amazing Outlander show, have been so lucky to have the wonderfully talented designer Terry Dresbach design the costumes for the first four seasons of Outlander.
She has worked so incredibly hard to bring us costumes that have become an integral part of the storytelling. The costumes have done their job so well of communicating time and place to the audience, through rigorous research and understanding of the aesthetics of each time and sensitivity to the practicalities of life in each place. But even more, they have also reflected each of the characters as an individual and their own personal journeys, how their clothes reflect who they are and how their choices and circumstances affect what they wear.
Terry has so graciously maintained an open communication with interested fans - first through her blog and then through Twitter - sharing her knowledge, research images, thoughts on the characters and her job as a storyteller... and we have lapped it up!
Please Please Please - commission Terry to write a book about her four seasons on Outlander, and give her a proper medium through which to share her art, research and insights with us.
We promise we will buy it!!
