My 40-year-old son has spent nearly 12 years locked up with a life sentence for a crime he did not commit. At his trial, there was no physical evidence, no DNA, no fingerprints, and no eyewitnesses placing him at the scene. His name was never even mentioned during the proceedings until a witness, Amanda Burgess, came forward with hearsay. She later admitted in court that she had lied from the very beginning. Despite this, and threats she sent him on Facebook, the jury convicted him based solely on her word.
Before this, my son graduated from high school, attended college, loved his nieces and nephews, and was always ready to help anyone in need. Our family is asking for your signature to help bring the truth to light and fight for his freedom. Thank you for reading and supporting us.
