Small church needs elevator for physically challenged members

St. Raphael is not a rich church. They created a reading camp for children whose parents are incarcerated for various reasons. They support God's pantry that feeds the hungry who do not qualify for food stamps. They support a safe house for battered women and their children. They provided clothing as needed. They pack lunches for school children in need to take home. The budget is usually in the red. There is no money ($left for the much needed elevator for the physically challenged parishioners who can not maneuver the steps. Without an elevator they must go outside and go up or down the incline from one level to the other. This includes inclement weather. We have had record snow and rain fall this year. When the weather is too bad they are forced to stay home. With an elevator we could help them and perhaps help others.
