Stop the UK government handing Attendance Allowance to Local Authorities

The Government announced, rather whispered in January this year a consultation on Attendance Allowance. They are going to give it to our local authorities to dish out!! Yes, those local councils who are cutting back and cutting back are going to decide on Attendance Allowance!
You could get £55.10 or £82.30 a week to help with personal care because you’re physically or mentally disabled and you’re aged 65 or over.

I saw at first-hand how this allowance helps over 65s with a disability and how they use it. The carer this allowance can pay for has one MAJOR additional benefit over, whenever they visit its company for a lonely person. So fight for this tooth and nail; it will only save the government money at the expense of old people often lonely old people unable to fight back.
