Hobbton High Deserves a Track

Last year, Hobbton won the triple crown; #1 in cross country, #1 in winter track and field and #1 in spring track and field. Hobbton has accomplished all of these goals without a TRACK! In Sampson County Hobbton is the only school without a track. We practice on our old football field, in the parking lot and sometimes at other schools with a track. As an athlete who hopes to continue with track & field in college, and that has placed 3rd and 4th at the state championships, I believe that it is unfair for my teammates and I to be at a disadvantage when we already have fewer opportunities than other county schools. Join me in fighting for a track for Hobbton High School!
