Say NO to ending Hottspot Cafe'

The Hottspot Cafe' is a program run by the High School Lifeskills classes. It is a completely self funded program executed and operated by the kids and teachers of the Lifeskills class. This program teaches our kids many skills like running a business, banking, math, science, cooking skills and most importantly social skills which is extremely important for these students. Once a month, the cafe opens to the entire high school to sell beverages and baked goods which are made by the students. This is their club...it is their time to shine! It is your opportunity to meet these students and include them in your community. The administration is talking about suspending this program which would be devastating to our kids. They are not giving us specific reasons why they want to shelve this program. If you enjoy having the Hottspot Cafe and want to help us to keep it open please sign our petition.
