Invite Angela Merkel to the White House Correspondents' Dinner

Donald Trump and his staff will not be attending the White House Correspondent's Dinner. In keeping with his bizarre war against a free press, Trump is acting like this is some moral boycott on his part. The whole point of this event is to highlight and celebrate a free press in the United States. Since Trump only wants to limit that, it's fine that he won't attend. 

We think Angela Merkel, should be invited in his stead! Sign if you agree. 

At this point Angela Merkel does more to protect freedom and democracy than Donald Trump anyway and we should honor that! Trump wouldn't even shake her hand at their recent White House meeting, that's how sexist and undiplomatic Trump behaves. Merkel supports some anti-LGBTQ stances and the islamophobic burka ban, but even still, she is a better choice than the hateful Trump.
