UK GOVERNMENT: DON'T BAN NEW PETROL/DIESEL CARS IN THE UK BY 2040

New diesel and petrol cars and vans will be banned in the UK from 2040 in a bid to tackle air pollution, the government is set to announce.

Ministers will also unveil a £255m fund to help councils tackle emissions from diesel vehicles, as part of a £3bn package of spending on air quality. This cannot go ahead, just look at the process which is required to generate electricity for the electric cars, that generates emissions too. If we want to find a new way of emission free cars then why do will not look at powering them with something new; something else than electricity?
