Keep Shining Light Recovery Home For Women at the current location

Shining Light Ministries has operated a transitional home for women recovering from drug and/or alcohol addiction from 2007 until the present, at 772 and 782 Racetrack Road in McDonough, GA. In that time we have had 49 women graduate from our 12 month program, 69% of which have maintained lives of clean sobriety and societal contribution. THEREFORE, your petitioners call upon The Henry County Board of Commissioners to : Recognize that the bucolic setting of this transitional recovery program is of vital importance to the efficiency of the program, and ensure that it is allowed to continue doing its excellent and vital work in this location.
