Great Ape Basic Human Rights

Consider this, we share 99% of our DNA with chimps but we treat them like trash. They have emotions, sophisticated language, and even  cultures. For example, in one troop of gorillas, whenever a gorilla becomes an adult, they must swim across a river, a sort of rite of passage. They even go to war with other troops. Apes cry, kiss, hug.
Chimps share 99% of our DNA, orangutans 97%,  gorillas 98%. It is your duty to protect these marvelous animals.
Some of you have asked, what would it mean if this becomes law? One possibility is that apes will be taught basic sign languge,  and then be given the choice of where they want to live, such as remain in  the  zoo, for example, or  go to a sacturay. This law is in place in Norway and Spain.
