Substantiate your decision to penalise me!

Currently, when you make an inquiry regarding negative information on your credit report, you are asking the agency to actually research the reason the mark . They conclude their research and notate it as " we have completed our research and found the item to be true and correct" Which is a pretty generic answer without further explanation. What needs to happen is when the consumer makes the inquiry and asks for the negative information to be substantiated, the Agency should be required to detail out the steps they took to validate the entry, and record who the individual who was responsible to do the research. They can "code" the individual so the agency doesn't have to release the name of the researcher, however it is important to be able to validate the information with the actual researcher who conducted the research. To often is the case where no research has been done and the invalid information is left on as being valid.
