Help Restore Schiff Fountain!

Please join Hester Street Fair, Ron Castellano, and Friends of Seward Park (FOSP) along with other concerned community members and show your support for the restoration of the Schiff Fountain.

The fountain, located on the Western edge of Seward park, was a gift of  Jacob H. Schiff, a banker and philanthropist, to the people of the Lower East Side.  Designed and built in 1895 by architect Arnold W. Brunner, the fountain was moved from Rutgers park to its current location in 1936.

Today the fountain is in dire need of repair. Please support our efforts with the power of your signature so we can see water rise and flow once again; restoring a symbol of community and vibrancy for the people of our neighborhood.
