91.1 fm Radio station getting rid of Hip-hop and R&B music

91.1 Fm is a well known and very popular radio station located at Norfolk State University. Over the past few months the head of 91.1 has been trying to get the radio station to venture away from Hip/Hop and R&B music due to the provocative content of the music. Me myself as A recording artist, I don't think that would be a good move due to the fact that the radio stastation is on an HBCU campus (Historically Black Campus) and Hip/Hop is what people at that school mainly listen to. Also there are many local artists that I know that have really great songs that aren't necessarily provocative and the songs can't be aired due to the fact that the station is trying to move away from Hip/Hop and R&B and that causes a major setback for people who are trying to move into the hip-hop industry. Taking away Hip/Hop is going to decrease the number of listener's. Hip-hop has constantly been on the rise there's no need to get rid of it! If you feel the same way please don't hesitate to sign. Thank you!
