Make Food Rescue Donations from Food Establishments Mandatory

With 1 in 7 people in the United States hungry we are throwing away about 100 billion pounds of edible food each year from grocery stores, restaurants and other food establishments. This food is thrown into landfills where it decomposes into methane gas producing global warming. If we recycle this food into a hungry mouth instead, we have saved a person from hungry suffering and saved the environment at the same time.  A win win situation.  Please support the Mitro/McHenry Mandatory Food Rescue Donation Law for Food Establishments.
