It makes no sense for 41 votes to block Senate legislation supported by the other 59. This is not how democracy works.
You've heard this a zillion times already over the years, right? Yet aside from some tweaks, it still lingered like a bathroom stench.
But now, thanks to the incredible work of candidates and campaign workers, we now have the chance to finally get rid of the filibuster IF WE ACT:

We can eliminate it with a simple majority vote. And we can prevent Senate Republicans from blocking great policies that have strong majority support. Yes, we'll still have a Republican president to deal with, but Trump is frankly nuts, and his popularity is hovering around that of explosive diarrhea, who knows what he'll go for?
Now, we get that many have understandable fear of what the Republicans would do, if they got the majority back, and we didn't have the filibuster. But they wouldn't need Democratic permission to do away with it -- they'd just do it, regardless of what Dems had done.
The American people just gave Democrats a chance. A big one. And we need to take it, BE BOLD, and prove we deserve that chance.
