Another Horse Was Tragically Killed on the Race Track

Last week, another horse broke his shoulder during the Melborne cup and had to be euthanised on site. Although his owner declares that he is devastated from the loss, it is clear that this is a loss that could have been prevented.

Cliffsofmoher died on that track, stumbling with pain after breaking his shoulder so badly that it dangled, held on only by skin.

During the same race in which the champion racer was killed, jockeys whipped their horses so many times that several were heavily fined and one was suspended from competing for a month.

From August 2017 to July 2018, statistics show that one horse died every three days in Australia. Six horses have died on this track.

It's high time to shut it down. We ask that the track be closed immediately!
