The woman responsible for the death of two dogs was transporting them and 11 others when she and a friend stopped to put coolant in their van's air conditioner. Area police on a random patrol spotted the dogs, and she attempted to shut the van's doors before they approached her. When she opened the door at their request, they found thirteen dogs in stacked cages, with no water, no ventilation with some of them foaming at the mouth and some covered in feces and this on a day when the outside temperatures were approximately 80 to 90 degrees. Two of the dogs, an English bulldog and a French bulldog have since died of heat stroke. It is not known if she was able to keep those dogs or if an animal hospital had possession of them, as the animal hospital did not return calls to them. She should be charged and convicted of a felony in the two dogs deaths and held accountable for the condition of the remaining animals. If found guilty, she could face one to three years in prison. And that is what she deserves for her deplorable treatment of these dogs. Her court date is scheduled for September 8th.
