Marijuana can be used to effectively treat a wide range of diseases and syndromes. Patients with wasting illness, such as cancer and AIDS, cannot keep up a healthy weight unless they use marijana to stimulate appetite. It is clearly a matter of compassion and common sense to legalize medical uses of marijuana everywhere and before there is any more needless suffering.
Indiana has a bill before the general assembly to legalize medical marijuana. However, your Indiana senator needs to hear from you that you support this measure. Please join me in asking the Senate of Indiana to pass Senate Bill 209 which will legalize medical marijuana in Indiana.

Medical marijuana has long been proven to be more effective in treating certain illnesses than any other medication. It is particularly effective in alleviating the symptoms of AIDS and chemotherapy. And yet, federal laws have made it difficult for AIDS and cancer patients to receive the treatment they need to keep up their weight and maintain a healthy appetite. You have an opportunity to alleviate a great deal of misery and show compassion to some of your state's most vulnerable people. Please pass Senate Bill 209 and legalize medical marijuana in Indiana.
