help the needy

Today, humanity faces the COVID-19 pandemic, which is altering life, creating panic in populations, and stressing economies. The most vulnerable are the under-privileged sections of our society, who face heightened health and financial risks. Thousands of daily-wage workers in countries like India have lost their jobs and are finding it hard to meet their day-to-day family and healthcare needs. The unemployment data released recently in the US has astonished everyone to see the economic damage caused by this pandemic.

Many countries have responded with lock-downs or shelter-in-place orders, while upgrading the healthcare infrastructure and mobilizing financial support.

To respond to this disaster and to curtail losses, there is a need to supplement the government’s efforts as dutiful citizens and caring fellow humans. We are being tasked with undertaking the necessary precautions, caring for our families, and uniting at heart to aid those most in need.
