Tell Dickson to leave the geese and waterfowl of Luther Lake Park alone

In middle Tennessee, Dickson City Council voted to remove and euthanize all the Canada geese and mallard ducks of Luther Lake. The birds will be rounded up and killed because those who live on the lake complained about the amount of droppings the birds leave behind in their yards. Over 300 Canada geese could be killed because of these heartless homeowners.

The lake is surrounded by a city park - and park users aren't complaining. These birds should be protected by the federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act, not slaughtered due to inhumane neighbors.

Sign the petition to urge the mayor of Dickson to overturn this decision and spare the wildlife of Luther Lake!

Please protect the migratory birds of Luther Lake - stop the City Council's efforts to collect and kill the geese and ducks.
