Centralized location for the Department of Human Services

We feel that the development of a centralized location for the Department of Human Services would be beneficial to clients, employees, and communtiy members.  A centrally located building would reduce the amount of time and money that is spent for clients and workers getting from one building to another in order to get the appropriate services for themselves , their families,a dn other in the community.

The conditions at the Wolf building especially causes a great risk to clients, employees, service providers that conduct business there.  Currently the Wolf building has had heating and water issues, elevator problems and fires, asbestos, mold, lead dust and frequent episodes of bats in the employee work areas.  Relocating the staff in that building would ensure that everyone would have a safe and healthy building in which to conduct business.
