Protect our Kiski Area School children

Over a number of years weapons have been brought into school buildings and mass shootings are occurring at an alarming rate. I am creating this petition for the entire Kiski Area School District to install metal detectors in every entrance and every exit of ALL schools in this district which includes Kiski Area High School, Kiski Area Intermediate School, East Primary Elementary School, South Primary Elementary School and North Primary Elementary School. This preventative measure will ensure a safe learning environment for our children. Many believe an incident will never take place in this district, however, as a parent I would rather the district take more preventative measures. Metal detectors can be expensive but the lives of our children are priceless!
