PEOPLE WHO CARE FOR THE ANIMALS IN KENTUCKY

Animals are being neglected, starved, abandoned, beaten and used for fighting all across our beautiful state. We the people of Kentucky insist that a punishment for these crimes be put in place and be enforced. We insist that repeat offenders of animal abuse and cruelty be banned from obtaining and or owning any animals in the future. It is a proven fact that animal cruelty and abuse is a precursor to human abuse and cruelty.    At the very minimum animal owners should be obligated to provide food, water, shelter from a harsh environment and medical care for sick or injurged animals. The horse in particular has brought millions of dollars into the state of Kentucky from the Kentucky Derby alone . We of all states need to set an example for humane care of the ones who built this state into what it is today.  Kentucky animals deserve better. Please be their voice.
