Demand the the NHS include Group B Streptococcus awareness and testing in Antenatal Care

My first granddaughter Rosie died at 5 days old from Group B Strep infection in 2005. Her death was avoidable if her mummy had been aware of Group B Strep, but the NHS do not include GBS awareness or testing in antenatal care. Approx 75 babies a year die from GBS and another 40 left severely disabled from GBS and many more left with health problems. Families should not have to keep going through this heartbreak which is avoidable. Since Rosie died over 750 other babies have died and over 400 left severely disabled and many more with health problems, it is inexcusable that in this modern day and age the NHS allow this to happen
